I like how the mc is a big unknown like we all think he will choose to rebel against the empire but all the stuff he is doing makes it seem like know one never the mc knows how this story would end (accept if you already read the light novel)
his great empire did mass slaughter and he is only mad that he gets manipulated

All this buildup for him to one day become the leader of the terrorist and succeed in overthrowing the empire is FIRE
I have two theories about Kinuan: he is either Noel Mulizska himself, or he might as well be an AI. People in the Empire have pretty long lifespans – longest out of any human faction. With all their organs replaced by machines, their only point of failure is their brain. And with adequate treatment/medicine and maintenance – who knows how long they can endure… easily centuries if not even be immortal altogether.
As to the AI theory: since Kinuan’s body is a full body prosthetic – how is anyone to know whether there even is a biological brain inside there. Sure, AI’s have limitations, but it could be an advanced/unique AI that can work around them.
Mmm Kinuan telling him to investigate his past ? Something tells me Kinuan’s past is gonna be pretty similar to Luka.
Luka will die if he keeps having these rebellious thoughts against the empire. SUre he’s a chesspiece but everyone is a chess piece of someone else even the higher ups
so he shouldn’t be “I refuse to be manipulated ” that’s the kind of thing that leads to execution

I was fine with them sending him to the academy for secret mission but now, that’s messed up
The feeling of being a mere pawn to others schemes and the realization that while you thought you were choosing your path yourself while you were actually manipulated and only moved to the will of the forces around you

Luka is such a badass, I love how he actually thinks. He thinks a lot. If he doesn’t think he basically insta dies 
Bullshit. Its the combat arts itself they want. Why else would they let kinuan roam free when they suspect him this much. its not like he has a standing high enough to resist them.
