Man this manhwa really nailed the stakes. Like I’m usually a shipper type of guy that ships the MC with any female character, but here, I cannot support any romance when their life expectancy is so low

This is a masterpiece. He’s struggling so much for something that he will not allow himself to enjoy. He’s emptying himself, becoming both the emperor ideal soldier and a blight for people who try to have a real connection to him. He’s a perfect illustration of how people turn themselves into sociopath by force of society oppression.
