I have had some amazing patience which I don’t normally have for this manga but now it has become apparent that he is a mere lapdog I believe the term is though I am more than likely wrong. He has shown himself to be mindless dog outside of combat and it doesn’t really feel like I’m watching the mc act. It seems more like those random guards you see for 10-15 chapters alongside a major side character that ends up dying shortly after appearing although that analogy makes zero sense I couldn’t think of one that fits.
