Ilay reminds me of Griffith In some ways I might be over reaching it’s been a while since I’ve read berserk but they both have that idea of not letting all these deaths be vain and actually make them meaningful for their goals
actively watching two brothers see that they are gonna be enemies soon and there is nothing that can stop it because of who they are and both essentially saying goodbye bro… this shit so funking hype but I’m so sad because we all know how this has to end
Ilay’s dialogue was pure hype
It raised my expectations for him by a lot
What chapter do you guys think that they will try kill each other? I think it will be 126
Would be crazy if Ilay becomes imperial guard, and finds out how deep in empire Luka really is
That was one of the manliest dialogues I’ve ever seen.
I have a feeling he’s gonna have to kill ilay one day
It’s hard to understand what is even motivating Ilay at this point. He seems torn between being broken by the unshakable might of the empire and the desire to struggle to secure his interests, but in the process he’s losing everyone he wants to protect.
Ilay is treading a dangerous path, but I hope he succeeds
