Awesome perfect payback 
He was so conceited and arrogant, he didn’t even bother to get information on the MC and still believed him to be 3 mayor realms below him… had he had the freshest information, he’d know he is (was) only 3 levels below him (yeah, it’s 1 now, but he advanced right before he came, so not predictable), and with the ability to kill up to 7 levels above him (he did know of the Soul Clan, so he should have known the MC killed someone at the 9th Ancesto level). And given how he’s weak for his level, he should have known he can no longer oppress him at all
