At least 1 of the 2 Soul Vermins died, I really want to see the other one die too. People willingly become pawns of the Soul Vermins for power, but this pawn was already at that level when the Dragon Something Pill first appeared, and is STILL at that level after about a decade… while the MC will take at most 1 or 2 years to decome a Dou Sheng (Saint), surpassing his newly acquired Half Saint level (looks like Half Saint and Half God are actual levels, making Venerables and Saints have 10 levels each instead of 9… weird…
This techniques is strikingly similar to the Soul Devouring thechnique the Soul Vermins used on their first appearances… to the point the MC should have reacted to it and stopped the enemy from powering up… guess not today, huh… idiot.
