For anybody who is suffering from this translation i would suggest going to kailscan.io for the first 8 chapters, it’s a different TL afterwards.
The translation is butchering the story. I can only recommend reading the novel instead or together with the manga with each chapter. I’m currently doing that with the translation by noodlebrainsquad.
