Humans have been killing each other for thousands of years, When society collapses peoples true colors come out, good people will remain good while evil people will expose themselves.
Not all people deserve to be saved tbh, but only a few good ones.

Kill them all. Undesirable people shouldn’t populate the world. And saving individual people instead of going after the monsters, who can kill dozens to hundreds on their own is brainless. Killing a single monster would be doing more work than all of the people he saved. Having the most valuable soldier doing useless work is inefficient.
