WTH, when did he lose an eye? I hate that kind of crap. Author: “Oh, we need make him look after this time skip. I know! We’ll give him a eye patch like a pirate! That’ll make him look cool.” And so it happens time and time again, that MCs lose their depth perception for the sake of “coolness”.
