I find the weird subplot of Shierke having a “crush” on Guts really unappealing. I don’t think it will go further in that direction but, weirdly, it is brought up this much. I think the scene on the beach was kinda fitting. That she sees him as a father figure and role model. With the elf just making fun of her that she likes him romantically. But this goes too far imo.
