The First Grimoire (Clover Kingdom): Yuno’s initial Four-Leaf Clover Grimoire, which granted him Wind Magic, did not belong to his soul.
It was actually claimed by the reincarnated soul of Licht and Tetia’s unborn son, who was sharing Yuno’s body.
Because the elf soul was the dominant magical presence during Yuno’s childhood grimoire ceremony, the book chose the elf rather than Yuno himself.
The Second Grimoire (Spade Kingdom): Yuno’s true, innate magic is Star Magic, a rare power derived from his royal bloodline as the lost prince of the Spade Kingdom.
This magic remained dormant until the Spade Kingdom Raid arc, where Yuno’s royal heritage awakened during his desperate battle against Zenon Zogratis.
Upon reaching the Spade Kingdom’s grimoire library, Yuno’s own soul finally claimed its destined Spade Grimoire, allowing him to wield Star Magic alongside the elf’s Wind Magic.
