Don’t even know if everybody already knows the game and it was too obvious to mention it in the comments, but writing these little breadcrumbs just in case someone out there doesn’t know the game but has their curiosity sparked. Was looking for the Wizardry light novel when I happened on the manga.
Players delete dead characters if they’re low level and keep on sending disposable pawns in. Only the winners get to go home, to do it all over again the next week.
