I remember feeling so bad for Kon when I read this as a kid lmao, it’s actually horrible. They start with all this “Man, I feel bad for him, created as a weapon, just be killed immediately? What a terrible thing to do, how inhumane… Welp, time to treat him like a subhuman cause he knows he’s got nowhere else to run to <3”
