Yeah sure, the thing about Hyourinmaru isn’t retconned. His explanation about his bankai doesn’t make sense tho.
- Since he is immature, the flowers appear and he enters a bankai that is like pre-maturity. There’s a timer for maturation. So, we can assume that when he hits maturity, the form with the wings won’t appear at all.
- He says that for Hyourinmaru to reach maturity, he lets the flowers disappear. Coz it’s a countdown to maturity. That means that once the flowers disappear, he’s able to use his mature bankai. It’s a prerequisite.
- But why would he need to “age a bit”? He’s already let the flowers disappear. The prerequisite is met, and yet he still has another prerequisite in that he has to age? He says that his powers need to mature. The fuck does his age have anything to do with that? Does that mean that when he finally matures, once he does his mature bankai, he still has to age a bit? Coz it’s a prerequisite not tied to his power.
