when i was trained. i realized that you could use the shield to bash and crush the feet. you could also angled it to bash shins. and cripple your opponents legs in one move, all whilst defending against leveraged attacks; given a corrected sized shield (not a buckler)

it just seems lazy that these ‘fantasy’ writers do not actually study battle or tactics, but write long treatises about game theory and stats.

do a feint. dodge a little, do a bash, kick their shins and throw dirt in their eyes.

oh but no. all games say is you ‘use your stats’ and take the hit like an idiot.

then get the aggro. duuuuuur duuuuuuuur duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurp.

just lazy fantasy writing, imo. read gichin funakoshi or sun tzu for fucks sake.

theres a billion tactics. just taking hits a ‘meat shield’ just retardation.

why is fantasy writing so 1-dimensional.

Thank god that was just aptitude. Although, it’s bias more than anything else when I noticed this chapter :hihi: . Also, he should actually change his class at this point 👀, because yeah he’s too skinny being a damn defensive tank. How is he not an offensive tank, martial artist, or at least an archer is really beyond me if he was basically an assassin or some sort of demon in his past life.
