I was really hoping MC wouldn’t turn out to be a moron with no common sense just to further the plot, but I see it wasn’t worth getting my hopes up

ok so a (soon to be) harem member showed up, if it follows the norm i bet she will start out by pretending to be on MC’s side before backstabbing him only to regret it and then join the harem.

So their next member is some sort of beastfolk then, probably a catgirl based on the tail. If I’m remembering right that’s the emblem of the Thieves Guild they mentioned, so hopefully this isn’t an attempt at robbing/ambushing them away from prying eyes.
