I was abt to complain because I thaught the new swords design was such a shitty downgrade. Thankfully scrolled down to see in the next few panels the middle wasnt a poopy solid gray but actually transparent thank god.
I get that this kind of stories are all about getting OP fast and without doing too much to actually deserve it, and until now I’ve been ok with it, but being rewarded with a super OP skill like this eye thin (not only seeing people’s stats and objects properties but also lies detection?) without doing really really ANYTHING at all?
Supposedly it’s a reward for entering the waiting room first, but he was transported automatically, so why is it his merit?

Everything until now has felt at least somewhat earned, but an insanely powerful skill for doing nothing other than re-entering the tower first is such an underwhelming development.
