Oh, he’s become a lovely person now, I see. Just a little dim-witted. If it was me, I would have used the Regulation authority to disable all of the enemy’s divine authorities. In fact, all the native deities’ divine authorities as well, just like the harmony apostle did to his. That would’ve been the smart choice. He would’ve taken no damage and would have not died. But, hey, the author must’ve forgot.

I dunno about the God of death.
He’s been a necromancer since the beginning of the series, but hasn’t really shown any skills related to being a necromancer for the last 123 chapters, apart from stealing stats from defeated enemies.
If killing enemies makes him a God of death, anybody’s a god of death then …
The author has been making some questionable choices for quite some time too.
Sometimes MC’s a martial prodigy, sometime’s he’s an amateur in martial arts.
Sometimes he’s a dragon, sometimes he’s a dark knight.
And then all of a sudden his Deity title is “God of Death”…

He’s not really a necromancer, more an essence thief.
First good episode in weeks though, even though it still follows the formula of

- lose to enemy
- sad / angry / resolve
- win because stronger now
