So far, he lack of anything Necro..some skeleton summon, soul sucking and blood stuff, but that’s it… But who knows, maybe he can do dead related sh*t in the future.

Everyone always complain he doesn’t do necromancy. Necromancy encompasses far more than just making undead. His ability to absorb should and treasure their power is also a hallmark power of necromancy. Like ShangTsung, some necromancers prefer to take the power for themselves rather than just making powerful puppets, while they themselves stay weak. So many manwah resort to undead summoning necromancers that they will start feeling the same. I like this one. He can make undead, but he’s choosing to make himself powerful first.
Why was that priest woman’s face looked “expecting” when she asked the mc that question 
“he absorbs the abilities of those he kills but has better options and more of them” this isnt totally an evolved version of absorbsion

I personally find this series approach to necromancy refreshing. He’s collecting the souls of the dead to fuel his own power, but collecting souls to power yourself up is sort of the essence of necromancy, and every soul he spends on an undead minion is power that he’ll never gain. We’ve got enough horde necromancer series already in any case
