I feel like this moment wasn’t really full plot armour. Every last thing he pulled out in this fight was acquired bit by bit, all leading to here. If you were paying attention (or binging), you’d remember the cheat-death, the unused Ash Crown, and the description of his mixed sword arts that poisons you with demon energy, forever, until you’re dead. The fight was sealed with the first scratch, all that he had to do was struggle and survive until then. Maybe he’s OP from all his crazy gains and soul eating, but this dude was older, had killed tons of people for tower rewards, and came from a much higher level. I, personally, give him this one
