Why didn’t the MC kill him just now did he lose his brain cells ???

What I don’t understand is why MC didn’t just gank him. If he could use the telekinesis to accelerate him by 78.4 m/s^2 (8G), even if that’s only for a second it means he’s going 78.4 m/s after that second. Aiming him to the sky should mean he goes up and then comes back down at just under that speed (some energy lost to friction); if he sent him sideways into a rock face (of the many in the area) he’d slam into the rock at that speed. Either way, he could easily follow up with more magic at the dude right after impact and finish him off before he can do anything…

Not to mention, if he was able to physically make contact with the guy and steal his ring, shouldn’t he have been able to use far more lethal magic than telekinesis?
Tsk. Maybe he’s trying to get a title for beating up Cluze in his maximum power..?
