To the people complaining about how they treated the messengers, you truly haven’t done your research on how messengers would be treated when the receiving ruler was insulted like you just read. In the old days, the messengers would be beheaded for such an insult that those letters portrayed. From the recording device in the back you can tell he did it for appearances. The MC is appealing to the people who are suffering under the two kings that instead of them surrendering to a justified ruler, they would rather continue stepping on their people out of self interest. Those messengers are just a part of the system that is war. They knew what they signed up for.
