And this is not expected? It’s not as if the entire Reinhard management are keeping his abilities a secret. It’s like SHOUTING TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN RANGE that they have an extremely valuable marebito with special abilities. Even the lowest of the lowest denizens know of him.

When I read this chapter in the light novel I got genuinely pissed off at kousuke for being an idiot. I may just be overly paranoid but he’s alone on his day off with a guy who should know him fairly well and he starts asking him if he wants to go somewhere and do something while he’s got time off.
And as he’s progressively more assertive about wanting to leave he suggests, “hey why don’t we go down this dark alley way to some abandoned lot with no one around and you just dump your entire inventory right in front of me.” That’s suspicious as hell. I don’t care if we’re friends I don’t trust that.
And then he flees in a slow cart loaded with goods.
And I just thought of another angle nobody is considering. Not many know the collar he wears is ineffective. That he is just wearing it for social and sentimental reasons. People kidnapping him might think they are doing a rescue.
OH GOD YES,luckly this was not dropped i was honestly scared the autors stopped writing this but it’s a relief it’s still coming out

I feel like I have read this already despite the chapter just coming out because I vaguely remember the betrayal … Weird
Feels like a “drama for dramas sake” thing. I’ll try to withhold judgement but this was kind of a meh chapter.
We are going to get a arc where he uses he less sensational abilities, aren’t we. Remember, he can inventory anything touching him. Or even punch through a stone block, eventually. The pickaxes just help him do it faster.
Before or after torture though is the question.
Aira was awfully quick to assume betrayal when talking about someone they trust enough to guard the most important asset in their army. 
Tbh the MCs got it coming.
He has no dignity, still wearing a slave collar and has involved himself in a war unrelated to him. His hands are redder than any other being it that world, he’s a literal war criminal lol
