Power is just a thing. What makes it good, or evil is the person at the wheel and that oversimplification is what creates bad situation. You can still have a person with curing and healing powers, and he/she/it can still be an unrepentant vile piece of walking human filth due to their actions.
Sure, there may be good or evil gods in that world. But, once the blessing is passed on to the person in question, it’s up to them on how they use it to better or worsen the world around them.
