I guess it should’ve been pretty obvious when you think about it. Not sure if they had some paralytic s**t going on, but he could’ve just stood up and went out of the way for most of the parasites if they didn’t and then it would’ve been easier to get them off instead of just laying there in a puddle waiting for more to latch onto him
