You guys are too used to other level like piece of media that makes leveling up easy and less rewarding. Acknowledge that each and every level he takes not only makes his stats higher but also all off his summons’ stat too, and remember they have a x10 on their stats. To keep somewhat of a balance in power in the world building the author went all in in the significance of levels for EVERYONE, and that can be seen in the fact that there is job progressions at level 40 and 70, for everyone passing those level mean a lot and creates a power gap with those bellow and above (except mc of course), that is why even if mc can beat legions of enemies way higher level than him the moment the author will make him passe the level 40 threshold will be a very important time in the series, not only will he awaken another (better) profession with the benefit that comes with it he will (maybe) awaken a second talent or at least upgrade his, and considering his actual talent he risks to be even more powerful, he will also learn other skills with the abondance of medium scrolls he has, and each and every of his actual skill makes him very powerful alone so even more combined.
Lastly a thing that is repeated throughout the chapters and that I see no one considering is that everyone, LITERALLY EVERYONE, levels up WAY slower than him it take years even decades for the “worst” people to make it to where he is, and honestly I even find the author quite generous in the level ups.
All that is not to excuse the author for sometime doing some lazy writing, I also find the leveling timing to be kind of random almost like the MC is banking exp until the author wants him to level up, but apart from that the series is really good especially for the standards of Manhwa.
