The fact the lure worked and that there’s no one else around is pretty interesting.
There was a big pulse of dragon energy
No dragons went to investigate. No other humans went to investigate.
There being no demons or monsters around makes sense as the Fire King would have been able to command demons to clear the area of monsters and then leave.
MC is the only person brave or foolish enough to go running towards something like that
