When Sephiroth casts Supernova but misses the Sun
that asteroid wouldnt smash the earth into pieces, or destroy it. The planet safety wouldnt be affected at all. Every form of life besides some lucky microbes, and maybe some very deep sea vegetation and fauna would die tho.

Insane story building in the first chapter. I know its not a new themes, but its refreshing to read about a world ending apocalypse story that doesnt include monsters or dungeons
