I’m guessing that maybe Choujin X isn’t actually the Beasts but rather refers to a singular entity: the Antichr*st.
I think the key characters will end up being the Beasts and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. But Choujin X, with X also being readable as a cross, probably refers to the Antichr*st instead.
This is just conjecture, but Ichiro is going pretty hard. Feels like he’s pulling an Aizen here, except much more diabolical. With his abilities, he could certainly sow the seeds of chaos in a sort of tightrope walk that the Antichr*st would be expected to pull off. The false prophet that plunges the world into chaos.
Everyone is being played around with like pieces on a Chess board, and Ichiro is the only player at the table. I’d speculate that the reader is supposed to be the other player, sitting opposite of him, but we have no agency in how the story develops.
Choujin X is probably the Antichr*st’s story from the POV of the Horsemen or Beasts of the Apocalypse. Ishida’s spin on Revelations is going to drop the Tragedy tag down hard. *shivers*
