Also, I just realized that since Azuma is a Queem clone, it’s not actually Zora’s blood that awakened him, he probably always had these powers, just dormant. Then what did Zora’s blood do to him?
And in foresight it’s really obvious; Tokio (Vulture), Palma (Hyena), and all the failed experiments in the Tower (some sort of canines?) are clearly of beast nature, but Azuma’s powers have no trace of a beast in them. It all makes sense.
I didn’t expect to see a fucking male pregnancy, Ishida is really outdoing himself with this one.
Now it makes perfect sense why Zora had such disgust for Azuma (because he’s a clone of Queem, her enemy) and why Batista talked about “another iron piece” (because there’s a bunch of Queem clones running around and Azuma is one of them)
I’m curious what direction Azuma will go after this – will he turn mentally unstable like Kaneki did, take it like a champ and come back the same as before (at least on surface) or actually end up reverting to a baby.
