that was rude… he was a disciple not aware of the scheming against the spear sect, not sure the torture was needed here, he could have killed him after having cut one of his limb, especially after promising him a painless death… seem like the kindness and righteousness of his master died with him…

why no more further interrogation? that was a lame ass explaining and didn’t clear much up. who is this demonic spear person? what is the master’s intent on making bandits learn some martial art? idiotic mc. He could’ve had more clues on the other people involved and figured out the culprit behind the sect’s fall. valuable information gone. its gonna drag the story on even longer, due the mc’s choices
