That little boy isn’t wrong there is no virtue in being poor and sacrificing the last of your life for other poor people
Atleast he would be able to continue generation of physicians and at some point there will be a way for him to lend hand even to poor people like say let trainees under supervision help poor in free time and do better during job time

If you want to be a virtuous doctor while making money, it’s not that hard: just do honest work, and keep your profit margins low when you’re charging the patients for their treatment. If you’re doing well, you can take on the occasional pro-bono case here and there, but if you aren’t making enough to cover your costs, your doctors might disappear or die before your patients…
