I’ve been calling the thief as “MC” quite often, but he really does fit the role perfectly.
There is no suspense if the real MC acts, so he has to be the MC to keep the story interesting… because his plot armor is existing, yet not as defined and unbreakable as the real MC and his adopted daughter
