It might be that I’m just not used to this art style, but the way the protagonist’s pupils show up as just a tiny dot make me feel like he’s looking in a strange direction.

Hmm… I wonder if that guy is the first victim of either the time or whatever stone it was that sent mc back in time.
It would make sense, kinda. For the head honcho of the international division to end up there due to being shot and then working his way up in the same way that mc did, but he either didn’t learn the same lessons or he became jaded due to not being sent back or something similar.
