Why he want to go back? To claim back his fame? He can still use his skills because he can unlock them. Even if he lose the previous identity what does he lose? Nothing but fame.
Currently he have people he can rely on, friends and even gaining position that was impossible. He can become a player again to gain that same popularity while working as an office worker. But he still want to go? Why?
Why would he even want to go back to the time ‘just before he died’, when he was a total shitbag who everyone hated ? And wouldn’t he be returning to the same situation that resulted in his death anyway ? His history in this ‘reality’ is different to when he was a ‘hunter’ in the original one, so unless it changed when he went back, what would the point be… a five year groundhog day ‘loop’…?
These Time/Dimension stones seem to be important. I’m hoping he can use them to make this reality the real one since there’s nothing worth going back to in his previous life besides revenge.
