Also, since he noticed something off with her sign; I feel like the mafia might be marking the signs of those they’re planning to kill during the night while they’re killing or something.

3 bullets and one cartridge is missng… Was there a rule of moving bodies to other rooms? Only one person was supposed to die so there’s one extra chair that no one is using. If everyone else is assuming that the killer killed himself after his deed, then they would also assume that they’ll be getting food, no matter what happens after the meeting.
Only 10 people can win the game, so if they could, then of course they would want to get 1 extra person out without any extra cost. In this case, that would be the Mc since he only has one teammate left who’s been nerfed and since one of the victims was his only other teammate. He was also caught touching the bodies at the crime scene and they could use that against him.
To make it seem more like a suicide and for everyone to pin it on the Mc to get rid of one more person, the murderer removed one of the bullets from the gun to plant it on whoever has the most sus in case the plan went wrong 
. Or I’m completely wrong about everything and it’s a whole lot more simple.
