The man basically died and came back to life I think he deserves to be with his family and not forced to deal with some stupid whore but he’s gonna end up having to anyways
I do like that he feels guilty for making his brother deal with the fallout of him loving his best life.
Like other stories would make his brother wrong for being upset, but he at a minimum should be mad her had to give up his own happiness so his brother could chop it up in the spirit world

just watched the first 2 eps of the anime and I really hate that they changed the translation to “father I hate you” rather than I hate it as in the situation It leaves a sour taste if you ask me
