The Eye of The Typhoon, is literal Eye. The pun. It hurts. 
Also ‘Mama’ and her boys, are actually Naked Mole aliens aren’t they.
They are living underground(probably in the thousands), the boys almost got no thinking of their own, Mama acting like a center of a hive mind.
If any of you know how Naked Mole operates, Mama and her boys fit their Modus Operandi.
