Honestly, with Okarun being an introverted, sheltered, awkward kid who already has an active crush on someone else — being smooched like that, in her own house, should not get him to go: “teehee”, but throw up.
This point of contention is basically the only thing that I dislike about this series: how it keeps drawing inspiration from ye olde 2000s era anime, with its never-ending misunderstanding arcs, and awkward harem-MCs with no spine.
It’s totally okay to have a nerd who also can throw punches, they don’t need to bend like a horsehoe all the time.
