No I have to say something. I don’t get why everyone is so against Jiji. Is it because of his weird extra behavior? He’s just awkward because he doesn’t know how to express his feelings. His character is deeper than that. I think he’s well written and fitting for this story.

I think that, if you dislike Jiji now, then you are nothing better then anyone who abandons others because they said something wrong. because they reacted with a bit too much enthusiasm. because they may have happened to develop feelings fore someone.

It’s not Jiji. YOU are the outsider. YOU don’t belong in this story. The fact that the others accepted and bear with Jiji, despite his awkward behavior shows why they are beautiful and belong to the story and how Jiji is a beautiful and welcome addition to the story.

When Jiji first came along, it was disruptive and it feels like they postponed the relationship between Takura and Ayase. But that’s no reason to hold a grudge for such a small thing. You can choose your friends, but you cannot choose when or how they come into your life. Jiji also basically just tumbled into the mess. You can’t blame him either. Just like the characters in the story did, I think it’s time to just grow over it.
