Now that she’s mentioned it. She was reincarnated so she obviously had to die first. In the reincarnation mangas I’ve read, the mc usually either dies and is reborn as a baby with memories intact, or as a baby but only regains it’s previous memories later on due to some kind of ‘trauma’, or reincarnates into the body of a child or adult that has just died and retains their previous memories and those of the body they’ve ‘moved into’. Because of those different scenarios they can be reincarnated as ‘any’ age or appearance. The exceptions are usually from the scenarios when the ‘stupid’ god or goddess accidentally pushes them in front of truck-kun, and as a result the mc gets to negotiate with them as compensation as to where they get sent, how old they will be, what skills they will have and what they will look like. With the summonings they aren’t required to die and usually arrive in the same state and appearence as when they left and are required to perform the usual ‘destroy the demon Lord and save the world’ service. If our mc didn’t die and was summoned, then who did it and why did he arrive as a younger version of himself ? And he can’t have been reincarnated as he wasn’t reborn, he just appeared on the hill top as a ‘younger’ him. The only other option I suppose, is to be sucked, dead or alive, into a Tron’ like game world’ scenario, to be mucked about with by some ‘unseen’ power or diety. Anyway… just wondering.
