gotta agree with the girls. I’ve never approved of casual sex, especially for the reason of stress relief. Nana fits his strike zone just fine, there really was no need to look elsewhere.

This isn’t exactly the adultery situation commented on before, but it is related. One of the Japanese people in this story thought prostitution was fine, another Japanese person thought it was immoral because she considered it adultery. MC might or might not consider it adultery if he were married, Arisa might or might not think it was adultery if she considered him single, and she might or might not consider it immoral even if she didn’t think it was adultery.
The point being, Japan has a wider range of socially acceptable viewpoints on promiscuity and fidelity than many western cultures do. They tend to “agree to disagree” more than insisting that one view or another is objectively correct.
