I really wanted to know what the reward for winning the bet was because it felt like there wasn’t going to be any and the MC pointlessly said yes to it, going so far as to say he’d rather die than be a disciple.
Also what are the stakes for dying? Is it permadeath?

Dlowing the whole body woukd mess your movement and balance up but just slowing a leg and arm up woukd totally mess your coordination up
