This is honestly the best 51 chapters I may have ever read. The pacing was absolutely phenomenal, the MC was the just the right amount of clever, funny, honest, arrogant and sentimental. It didn’t dwell too much on his past, nor have so much concern for the future.
Side characters were slightly understated, but more than useful props. It wasn’t terribly full of the uppity noble kids. It didn’t play to extreme comedy or dark depths.
This was… just right. And now it’s over. And that’s sad. But it also didn’t go on just to go on. It feels perfectly complete to me.
I will miss such a masterpiece
