I don’t understand why he thought this path is not the right path to make her a princess. If her ending was fixed and no possibility to be a princess the system will notify him just like before.

The thing he should wonder about.. if she proposed to him and he says yes.. why does the scenario not end.. such a dimwit.. it’s because it’s still possible for her to become a princess.. not by breaking off the engagement but by becoming king yourself before marriage
