I love how pope calls Annette foolish and yet it seems clear that he is the one being foolish.
Annette looks forward seeking a happy future with her own two hands and the pope seems to be stuck in the past trying his best to write a “future” that makes him happy without any real care of his daughter feelings

I think that picture of Annette is not her but her mother… maybe~
that is so weird… so when the pope destroyes the pages, reverting us to the beginning, then re-form the pages, “recovering” the previous chapters, the affected subjects seem to still have the memories of both the old-new chapters and the old chapters…?
this makes me believe that the pope’s skill is not actually re-written the timeline, but closer to brainwash. Since the people affected seems to still have lingering memories that can be recalled.
