I just suddenly thinking. When the MC dead and wake up in the novel, game they play. Maybe they’re in afterlife with the setting they know.

1) evil
2) worried for the doctor. Because if the doctor accepts MC as another disciple, the doctor will over exert himself and die much much earlier.
i hope this wont turn out that the mc is avoiding changing the storyline of the novel he read, like do your own way you’re the mc now
I wonder if MC is able to treat the Doctors disease through his modern medical knowledge.
