Idk, maybe Yooho isn’t the cause of his illness. He seems to be the plot armour for explaining how the MC gets access to various things, and I don’t think the author would make him a villain, as it would then get rid of his magic ability of sh*tting things into existence.
However, when the MC eventually leaves out to journey, I reckon he will have healed his master just before, I don’t see him dying. So, Yohoo still could fill that role.
