Goddammit. Why do these writers always do “this” and “it is here”. This is not suspense or mysterious in any way. You will declare what “it” is the next chapter or even the next panel. Why not outright say what IT is the first time and let the reader be surprised themselves instead of building up a complete letdown every single time?
