Finally, he restarts his research. As someone who actually did extensive research tho, I’ll say his approach is crap – he can’t operate from memory alone. 9% of research is looking up new info in internet, 90% is going over the same information under different angles to come up with some new ideas, and only <1% is the experimentation. If you don’t make tons of notes on your progress, you are doing it wrong.
But then again, for MC it’s more important to lick Seletia’s boots than pretending to do research.
